Managed Services Presales Consultant - EMEA

Summary Description:

This position requires a resource with decent technical as well as organizational skills that will help him / her in working on Managed Services presales and sales opportunities across EMEA. Having knowledge of the managed services portfolio and Managed Services delivery from Global consulting centres is a plus. The resource must have a flexible personality; have an out of box thinking and personal drive to succeed. This position requires the resource to take on new sales opportunities and convert them into customer signed contracts entirely on his own, hence from a business case presentation to final P & L development and customer contract writing; this person must be able to handle all responsibly with little or no support from seniors. Also to support the EMEA MS Sales Manager in new strategy development and general presales support across EMEA.
Candidates based out of EU are preferred.

Key Areas of Responsibility :

• Responsible for supporting Managed Services presales in EMEA (SOW drafting, P & L development, Sales presentations)
• Responsible for developing new Managed Services packages that can be deployed across EMEA.
• Responsible for finding creative ways of using the GCCs in increasing deal margins by enhancing the offshore component of delivery.
• Customer facing activities like Managed Services onsite audits, assessments, workshops and sales presentations.
• Tracking EMEA Managed Services revenue regularly.
• Relationship building within Teradata resources and external customers.
• Supporting the Managed Services Sales Manager in all demand creation activities across EMEA

Key Competencies/Skills:

The position requires a number of specific skills, including:
• At least 4 years of being involved in professional services delivery or presales with Teradata
• Strong technical and / or Teradata Managed Services background is a plus (specially understanding Teradata Managed Services support features that uniquely make Teradata support better than our competition)
• Excellent grasp of MS office tools (MS Word, Power Point, Excel and MS project plan).
• At a minimum basic to medium level understanding of Teradata Utilities like Teradata Manager, SQL Assistant, Viewpoint and how these can be used in doing Managed Services audits and investigations across accounts.

• Willingness and ability to travel frequently
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Strong Analytical and problem solving skills.
